Providing peace of mind for family and residents
At Bridge House, it always makes us proud to hear that our care has given a family back their peace of mind, providing reassurance that their loved one is happy and safe. In order to give the best possible care, we use a variety of ways to regularly gather feedback from our residents and those closest to them. We listen intently to our residents and their family members in our anonymous annual survey. We deeply value their feedback and it is used to continually improve our service.
This is the heart-warming response to our 2023/2024 survey.
Compassionate, personalised care
Our skilled team receives on-going training and support so they can provide the high-quality dementia care that residents deserve. We’re delighted that 100% of residents feel the team provides the care residents need, while ten out of ten feel team members know them, their likes and dislikes well. One family member told us: “From my observations the care that is given is exceptional, and real efforts have been made to understand my husband’s needs and preferences.”
Kindness, dignity and respect
93% of residents said that they are treated with kindness, dignity and respect. It is important to us that we extend the same support to families, so we were pleased that 96% of relatives said that they felt they could speak to senior management if they wished to, while ten out of ten residents said they are happy living here. One family member told us: “The Bridge House philosophy is clearly focussed on commitment and integrity.”
A happy home
Our home encourages friendships and connections through a variety of meaningful activities. 100% of residents said they are supported to take part in activities and hobbies. One resident told us: “I am very happy to be here.”.
